Upholstered dining chair

Description

The design project of the upholstered dining chair in collaboration with the renowned company TON a.s. focuses on the combination of traditional craftsmanship of bentwood with modern design and high functionality. The main material is the admitted plywood, which plays both a structural and aesthetic role in this design.

The plywood, with its characteristic layers and natural grain, is left in its natural state, giving the chair a raw authenticity and uniqueness. Emphasis has also been placed on the traditional use of visible structural joints and on a morphology that allows the continuity of the different zones of the chair.
