Tradition meets design

Description

The project focuses on creating a unique online platform that connects traditional crafts with modern design and fashion industry. The main goal of this platform is to support top craftsmen, increase their competitiveness and provide them with a direct link to the fashion and interior design sector. The platform thus enables excellent craftsmanship skills to find application in contemporary design and design projects, reinforcing the value and perception of traditional craftsmanship as a modern and timeless industry.

As part of the project I have worked with other designers to create designs that are subject to the project's philosophy. The designed set of garden tools of traditional construction and material was subsequently used at exhibitions and events to promote the project. The project was awarded Best University Presentation at Designblok.
